TISHOMINGO — The Voice judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were spotted Monday evening in southern Oklahoma. It appears Stefani is spending at least part of her Christmas in the Sooner State this year.

Monday, Stefani posted a three-second video clip on Twitter of Shelton kissing her cheek repeatedly with the caption “Merry Christmas.” In the clip, she was wearing a camouflage jacket and hat that she was later seen wearing into Gonzalez Mexican Food, a popular restaurant in the community with a population of 3,000.

Laura Wood, local resident and Gonzalez patron, was visiting with a friend when Shelton and Stefani asked if they could sit at the table. She hopped out of her seat and said, “Hey, y’all.”

“They do make lots of money, but they put their pants on every day like we do, so I consider them normal,” Wood said. “Very nice people just trying to enjoy the wonderful Mexican food we have in Tishomingo.”

The couple graciously visited with residents and took pictures with patrons and staff, according to images circulated on Facebook.

Elsewhere online, Shelton and Stefani made headlines from ABC News to E! Online after the No Doubt singer posted the kiss-filled video clip to Twitter.

Shelton and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert announced their divorce earlier in the year, though Lambert still owns two businesses in town.

The Internet also remains full of rumor and gossip surrounding all three music superstars, which readers can Google for themselves.

In Tishomingo, meanwhile, locals appear to have given Stefani the bill of approval.

“Gwen is the queen of cool!” said Helen Wardrip, local resident and co-owner of Vagabond Junktiques. “She totally ups Tishomingo’s cool factor. I love that she is visiting, and I hope she becomes part of the community like Blake is.”
