Poetry Second

Tik-Tok Master
by Peter Chege

Tik-Tok……Tik-Tok
You are always Mute
You never talk
But by your sound
You turn the skies and clouds round in patterns
You turn the seasons, the spring into Autumn
When you’ve marched forward you never turn back
By the sound of your Tik
A Generation has already passed
A sound of your Tok
A golden opportunity is tossed, a sealed deal
You are Not a servant
But even the kings obey your annoying sound
You never wait for the kings Nor nobilities
But your little cry is a noble Gesture
You are always on right, always on point
And you,you never disappoint
Always on time and your schedule always tight
You are the master of All, thus THE TIME.
