The forest of Terence Crutcher’s death

I‘ve seen a lot of the “let’s wait til the facts come out” mentality this week regarding the death of Terence Crutcher, which is certainly focused on the wrong part of this situation.

I don’t need to know if he got a C in the third grade to form an opinion when I can watch — from multiple angles — the moment a decision was made to use lethal force.

The rot in my yard
by Peter Chege

There is a certain Rot in my yard, The stains in my Neighborhood
Where the faces are always
on blackhoodious disguise.
Not to mention the disgust in their eyes.

There is a rot in my Yard
A Godless Generation of my Nation
A Nation of Sodom and Gomorrah
A Nation where prophesy and revelation
Seem to cease.

So sad the Youths on the outskirts of the City. Dressed to kill
Our Girls, the skirts so short they can’t even hide their dignity.
Too Sexy to Hide their Purity.
Our young generation is focused on Radiance Romance but they don’t care what is written in Romans and The Acts
of Sex are in their mind. Such a pity.

Even in our Parliament, the Agenda is all about Marriage of Same Gender
Since when did the matrimony of Same Gender become legalised?Since when did The Romance became an issue?

The future is Doom. The hope is loose.
The people’s Dream is a wild Goose Chase
There is no escape plan for this Generation
Our Morals and Values are eroding.

But just like a hunter Fears no Thorns,
I will stand as a remnant and sweep the Rot in my yard.
