NonDoc’s Edmond Civic Reporting Project
As a nonprofit news organization, NonDoc Media responded to the 2020 closure of The Edmond Sun by hiring a professional journalist to focus on Edmond issues.
Launched in January 2022, our Edmond Civic Reporting Project has chronicled weekly developments in the city while diving into a myriad of topics affecting the community: homelessness, housing, policing, lawsuits, a leaking pool, a public art park saga and so many elections.
Over the past four years, NonDoc’s Edmond coverage has been led by Joe Tomlinson, Blake Douglas and now Faithanna Olsson — professional journalists whose work is supported by charitable sponsors and donors, as well as grant-making organizations.
This page chronicles our articles involving the Edmond community and includes links to additional resources for residents. Bookmark it, share it with your neighbors and please engage with NonDoc’s newsroom as we work to sustain community journalism in Edmond for decades to come.
