Jim Myers helps supervise students with the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord News program. He was promoted in 1984 to the Tulsa World's statehouse bureau, and in 1990 he was named Washington correspondent. Myers is a member of the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame.
