Love ’em or hate ’em, the holidays are upon us. And quite honestly, we enjoy any occasion that encourages the gathering of people, the consuming of carb-loaded treats and the imbibing of adult beverages. That is why we are throwing a holiday party in our new office!
You are invited to join us at 3800 N. Classen Blvd, Suite C-80, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73118. The happy-hour soiree is set for Friday, Dec. 29, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and wrapping up around 6:30 p.m.
As journalists, we value honesty. So here’s the truth: We have not yet fully organized and arranged our new office. (Priorities, right?) But rest assured, we have embraced this opportunity to make NonDoc HQ feel warm and welcoming and not just like a newsroom with 15 cups on every desk and piles of public documents all over the floor. Cue the tinsel!
Celebrating and looking ahead
As 2017 comes to a close, we are taking stock of what this year has meant for us. And hosting people in our first true office is such a satisfying way to end the year.
WANT TO ATTEND?
At our Growth Party in July, we announced our 12-month growth plan, which included reaching a new traffic goal (check), reaching a revenue goal (check) and establishing an office space (check). So it is pretty cool to celebrate that big step forward with our friends and supporters who helped make it possible.
This party is also an opportunity to glean ideas from our readers and Writers’ Fund contributors.
Not only do you all make our work possible, but you also help make it better.
So come party with us
Anthem Brewing Company will be providing beer, and Scottie’s Deli will be providing some light snacks. Be sure you are thirsty and hungry when you arrive! Maybe beer and finger foods are not your thing. First of all, what is wrong with you? Just kidding. Feel free to bring your preferred drink or food of any kind.
We know many of you will be otherwise engaged with friends, family and travel. That is okay. But if you are around the metro and would like to join us, we would be thrilled to have you.
We look forward to seeing you Dec. 29!
