(Editor’s Note: Longtime Norman resident and photographer extraordinaire Doug Hill will be contributing photojournalism to NonDoc for the foreseeable future. Hill met NonDoc managing editor Josh McBee when the latter worked as entertainment editor for The Norman Transcript during the mid-2000s.

As a music columnist and automobile enthusiast, Hill brings an eye for the people and things that stand out in a crowd. After decades of capturing nightlife and the high life in Norman and OKC’s metro, this Hill photo essay and others will seek to bring a piece of central Oklahoma’s highlights to those with the curiosity to click.)
