COMMENTARY
Mary Fallin not high
(Mike Allen)

Some might say they were spooked by the results of Tuesday’s primaries. Others might say that a lot of political capital has been lost in the past year.

Whatever the reason for Gov. Mary Fallin to decline to call a special session of the Legislature was, it will probably end up being a good decision. There is an agency in place to set some framework — and it will do just that — but I really don’t think the sky would fall if the law were left as is.

In any case, it’s interesting, if not a pleasant surprise, to see Oklahoma engaged with medical marijuana before many other states. Yes, take that, Texas.
