Disney bought Fox

By far the biggest news this week in the world of pop culture was the Disney purchase of 21st Century Fox’s assets. There is a lot to parse out of the news that Disney bought Fox, but I take away the fact that Disney now owns the film rights to most of the nerd world.

Will we now see some crossover action like the comic above? Probably not, but I believe this is good news for a lot of franchises going forward. Now I’m waiting for the anti-trust hammer to fall….
