Alarming radiation levels at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant represent one of those stories we hear about and think, “Hmm, that doesn’t sound good.” But then we move on with our days.
Oddly, I think the comic above is what it would take for the problematic nuclear reactor to be a more concerning story for the rest of the world.
In either case, fiction or reality, it appears clean up of the area after its 2011 core meltdown is going to take much longer than previously thought. Until that is done, we should probably keep a close eye on those radiation levels, just in case ….
