Drug War Delenda Est

Black Lives Matter,
While white thoughts scatter
As they search for a retort.
Hear the chatter,
Ignore blood splatter,
Longing for their day in court.
“Obey and live, now.”
Advice given now
From people who miss the point.
Liberty? How?
We must be free, now.
Let the people smoke a joint.
End the drug war
And stop starting war
For the people to be free.
Let’s wage peace more,
Let inner beasts roar,
And broken let the yoke be.
