So the CIA and FBI have released more documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and it seems there is still no evidence of a conspiracy.
Or that’s what they want you to think, right?
In fact, it looks like the reason for the secrecy with these particular documents was the Cold War spider web in which Lee Harvey Oswald was possibly ensnared. Not surprisingly, some of the reaction from people to all of this has been an out-right rejection to the new info, and a doubling down on previously held beliefs about the death of John F. Kennedy. (Just look at those Facebook comments!)
Whatever the truth may be, it’s been interesting to see just how powerful a film like Oliver Stone’s “JFK” can be, even 25 years later, and how smaller media pockets like YouTube user videos can so easily shape a narrative.
